Elder statesman and former governor of Anambra State, Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife has said that no Igbo man will remain a Nigerian if south-East is denied the opportunity to produce President in 2023.
He made the statement in part of an interview with Sun News while speaking on the clamor by prominent Northerners that power will remain in the North after President Buhari’s eight years.
Ezeife who cautioned against the plot by Northerners, said it will be very dangerous to deny Igbos Presidency in 2023.
According to him, It is easy for anyone to pontificate.
“There will be no Igbo citizenship of Nigeria if in 2023 Igbos are denied the opportunity to produce President.
“The South East is not given serious chance to produce the president of this country.
“ After being given a serious chance and we could not make it, that could be understood but if anybody begins to say that there is no chance in 2023, that will be very dangerous.
