IPOB Members Charged With Terrorism For Carrying Flag, While Killer Herdsmen, Boko Haram Walk Freely – Ogbu

Social Media writer and Columnist, Mr Charles Ogbu, has condemned the perceived double-standard by the Nigerian security agencies in handling the issuess of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Boko Haram terrorists and Fulani killer herdsmen.

Ogbu, who made the statement in a post on his social media page, obtained by orsu24news.com, lamented the terrorism charges placed on three members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

He queried why Inspector General of Police should charge the IPOB members with terrorism for carring a flag, while Boko Haram terrorists and Fulani killer herdsmen walk about freely.

Ogbu also said that the Boko Haram terrorists and the killer herdsmen have a special army unit protecting them.

His Post Reads: “This is the Charge Sheet with which the Nigerian Police Inspector General -Ibrahim Idris -charged 3 Igbo youths to court and got them remanded in prison in Awka under Terrorism Act Laws.”

The matter was adjourned till the 30th of this month. And you can be sure that they will certainly be handed a heavy sentence

And what is their “crime”?, they were found with flag bearing “IPOB”. JUST A FLAG !

“They killed no one. They attacked no one. Their offense was just being in possession of a flag.”

“In the same country where Boko Haram and Fulani terrorist herdsmen are killing and maiming innocent people with the govt protecting, supporting and financing them.”

“Thousands of Boko Haram terrorists have been released by this govt with millions of naira reportedly paid them. Fulani terrorists have a special army unit protecting them even as I type this.”

“And these are internationally recognized terrorist groups who coincidentally share the same Region and Religion as the President and most of the security Chiefs.”
